My first. Might be more of a #Senryū vs. #Haiku. I like the simplicity of the 5-7-5 constraints either way.

A couple of things crossing my web travels this morning, as it relates to food.

1. Chili Dog Pizza
a beautiful round pizza topped with sliced hot dogs, chili, onions, with some yellow mustard drizzled on top

2. Dill Pickle Bread

via recipesfiber.com/dill-pickle-bread/

My wife has the latter in the oven currently, so I will report back later.

The former I haven’t tried but I think it’s worth the attempt. I might opt to put mustard on as a side as not everyone likes mustard.

I’m really frustrated with Windows 11 not wanting to install the pending update it keeps reminding me I need to install. Evidently this particular cumulative update is problematic (v. 24H2 – KB5060829) given the proliferation of YouTube video ‘fixes’ that abound (which haven’t fixed anything).
How about Microsoft pushes an update instead? Nope. It’s the user’s burden. I hate Windows. Unfortunately it’s whats running my wife’s laptop and I need to keep that machine updated and secure (as I type this on my Linux system.)

Michael Brecker Band – Full Concert – 08/16/87 – Newport Jazz Festival
  • Michael Brecker: sax and ewi
  • Joey Calderazzo: piano
  • Jeff Andrews: bass
  • Adam Nusbaum: drums

Watch here —> youtu.be/VMb3PX9gq78?feature=s

Notable observations: Calderazzo wearing the fashionable painter’s cap and a pink polo shirt, Nusbaum chewing gum AND playing the drums at the same time, Brecker sporting what appears to be a Casio Data-bank watch and playing an early-ish prototype of his EWI (electronic wind instrument ) and overall, an AMAZING band kicking ass.
